The audio launch of the Kannada film Anukta happened at the Kalavaidara Sangha recently and it was truly a star-studded event. The chief guest for the event was Challenging Star Darshan. Interestingly, when he made his entry, the star was greeted with the traditional Huli Vesha dance. The event was hosted by RJ Anurag.

There are four songs in the Anukta album, of which two were performed on stage. The film’s hero Karthik Attavar was seen shaking a leg for one of the songs and impressed the audience with his moves. The event proceeded with Darshan releasing the audio CD. The teaser for the film was released a couple of months ago and it was well-received by film buffs.

Anukta is directed by Ashwath Samuel and produced by Harish Bangera. The film has been penned by its lead star Karthik Attavar. Its audio rights have been lapped up by Puneeth Rajkumar’s PRK Audio.

Nobin Paul has composed the music and background score for the film while Keerthan Bhandary has penned the lyrics for all the songs in the album. The cinematography for this flick has been handled by Manohar Joshi while the editing has been done by NM Vishwa. Devi Prakash has done the production designing for Anukta.

The film’s star cast includes Anu Prabhakar Mukherjee, Karthik Attavar, Sampath Raj, KP Sridhar, Naveen Sharma, Padmanabhan, Kiran Shetty, Hari Anand, Ashwath Samuel, Sangeetha Bhat, Usha Bhandary, Chidananda Poojary, Anil Neenasam, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli and Roshan Shetty.

During the press meet earlier, Anukta’s director Ashwath had said, “The movie is a suspense crime thriller and is based on ‘Daivaradhane’ of Tulunadu. The sound effects and the scenes are the highlights of this film. There are three songs with western-classical touch to them.”

With the audio launch happening, the release date is expected to be announced soon.
