There is no dearth of people on the internet who will slide into your DMs and make no effort to even make civil conversation before turning creepy. From unsolicited dick pics to inappropriate messages, a lot of women have seen it all. So when singer Chinmayi Sripada had a creep send her an inappropriate message, she turned the tables on him, making him a laughing stock.
A Twitter user messaged Chinmayi asking her to “send nudes” or in other words, share explicit photos of herself. As random and offensive as that was, Chinmayi responded to him in a witty manner, and posted a screenshot of their interaction on Twitter. And it was quite entertaining.

As you can see, Chinmayi did share some nudes with the offending man… her favourite shades of nude lipsticks. We can only imagine what the man’s reaction would have been, but thanks to Chinmayi, we could all find some humour in a situation in which many women on the internet find themselves too often.
Chinmayi has been quite vocal about sexual harassment and misogyny and played a pivotal role in the Me Too movement that took Indian media and entertainment industry by storm last October. She outed Tamil lyricist Vairamuthu and supported many other women who had outed their predators and shared their Me Too stories.
Despite the backlash that she is facing, which includes lesser work opportunities, Chinmayi has continued to speak up publicly on the issues that surfaced in the aftermath of Me Too.
Chinmayi's witty response won her praise from her followers on Twitter.
