CPI (M) protest demanding Chandy resignation turns violent, police use water cannons to disperse crowd

Protest by CPI(M) activists demanding resignation of Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy  on Thursday  turned violent. Activists pelted stones on the police and the police lobbed tear gas shells and used water cannons to quell the protest.
