The first look poster of Nivin Pauly’s much-awaited Malayalam movie ‘Sakhavu’ released on Friday, with the actor publishing the poster on his official Facebook page.

The film is scheduled to hit the theatres in March 2017, and is reportedly a socio-political film in which Nivin plays the role of a Left leader Krishna Kumar.

In the poster, Nivin strikes the ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ (slogan) posture, easily capturing the hardcore Left look.

Though sporting the same thick beard and moustache that had his female fans drooling all over him in his blockbuster film ‘Premam’, his eyes are seen sparkling with political earnestness.....there is definitely no romance in the air here!

‘Sakhavu’ is directed by Sidharatha Siva under the banner of Universal Cinema. Shooting for the same has reportedly been wrapped up. Actor Aparna Gopinath plays the female lead in the film. A student activist at the JNU, her character Neeti supposedly sports a bold persona.
