Indian mobile brand Comio has added to its smartphone portfolio in the country by launching Comio C2. The phone sports a 5-inch HD IPS display, the screen resolution being 720x1280pixels and the phone’s overall dimensions are 144mmx71.6mmx9.9mm. If you felt the thickness of the phone is on the higher side, you have to consider that the phone has a massive battery.
The main processor is the quad-core MediaTek MT 6737 CPU and it clocks a speed of 1.3GHz. The Comio C2 comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. A provision for expanding the storage through a microSD card is featured in the phone as well.
As mentioned, the battery is a massive 4000mAh in size and the OS is the Android Nougat, version 7.0. In the camera department of the new Comio C2, one will find an 8MP camera in the rear and another 8MP camera in the front for selfies. The rear camera has flash support.
The connectivity options are complete, with the routine ones and of course 4G VoLTE, which is essential for any Indian smartphone in today’s conditions.
Comio expects to make the Comio C2 available in Royal Blue and Royal Black colors.
Comio has tried to pack the new phones with some attractive options to make the buyers choose it in preference to others. This includes the one-time screen replacement warranty available for six months from the date of purchase. This is in addition to the 1 year+100 days warranty the phone is sold with. Comio has also added some buy-back offers to this by taking old Comio phones and paying handsome amounts. There is also the tie-up with Jio for free data packs with the Comio 2.
In any case, Comio claims their new release has been specially designed with the Indian market requirements in mind and the price of the Comio 2 will be Rs. 7, 199. Though buyers from across India can order the phone online from most of the major stores like Amazon, Flipkart and so on, offline retailers only in the North and West will be selling the Comio 2 in their stores to begin with.
