Co-working space startup Creator’s Gurukul has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Rohit Nanda, a banker of repute; Rajit Nanda, CIO, ACWA Power, Dubai; Smarak Bhuyan an investor from the Bay area California; another banker and Singapore-based Sashwat Brahma.

Creator’s Gurukul is a startup headquartered in Delhi and is a provider of co-working space. The startup is co-founded by Abhinav Tandon, an alumnus of IIT Delhi and Mohammed Sirajuddin, a serial entrepreneur and the company was formed in April this year. Creator’s Gurukul was in the news recently, when they announced their association with cricketer Yuvraj Singh as the brand ambassador.

The founders are quite excited at the positive attention and funding their startup is receiving and they believe this will encourage them to go on to meet their targets. Creator’s Gurukul’s first center for providing co-working space is coming up in Gurgaon and it will have 500 seats. While the Gurgaon center will open in October, two more centers are being planned to be active before the end of 2017 and an overall 15, 000 seats should be made available within the first 18 months of operations, if the business plans are fully implemented.

Some of the other big names associated with Curator’s Gurukul include Shabir Momin (Singapore), Anubhav Kaul (Hongkong) and Jasmeet Singh, who are all high-net-worth individuals.

Yuvraj Singh has also issued a statement welcoming the new investment partners in Creator’s Gurukul and has expressed his pleasure at being associated with the project.
