The News Minute | December 3, 2014 | 08.10 am IST A class 12 student of a government higher secondary school in Maduravoyal, Chennai allegedly slapped a teacher on Monday. When the 34 year old teacher advised the boy to behave after he turned off the power supply to school computers, he gave her a ‘hard slap’, reported PTI. The teacher had asked the student to refrain from switching off the UPS to prevent the system getting corrupted, said the report.  According to an official at the school, the boy had behaved badly earlier too, and had been allowed to continue only after he apologised. This time however, no formal complaint has been filed considering the student’s future. The teacher had been slapped repeatedly by the student after which she was taken to a private hospital in Koyambedu, reported Times of India.
