The News Minute | October 14, 2014 | 05:46 pm IST| Updated 8.00 pm IST | Updated: October 15, 2014 | 04:00 pm IST Following reports of a website named Ramdev Medicine claiming to have a cure for Ebola, spiritual guru Baba Ramdev on Wednesday tweeted saying "This site http://RamdevMedicine.com is NOT our website. I have NOT given any statement on Ebola". The website named www.ramdevmedicine.com claims to have an Ayurvedic cure for Ebola. The Ramdev Medicine website has put on offer a " health pack for ebola virus that may prove very beneficial in saving ourselves from this deadly disease."The description reads 'There might be a herbal cure of Ebola virus that has recent repapered (reappeared) to the world'. And the health pack claims to 'Ebola virus prevention and cure through ayurveda'. The health pack consists of several ingredients that need to be ground before consuming, along with capsules, and these, according to the website strengthen the immune system which might help in fighting back the disease. The said cure can be purchased in three different packs of $65, $117 and $165 each and has a 30 day money back policy as well. However, not many seem to be buying into the idea of an Ebola cure. The site claims that it 'may prove beneficial' and 'there might be a herbal cure', it looks like they are not exactly sure of the 'cure', but why stop from selling a magical cure?Though Twitteratis reacted in surprise about the Ebola cure purportedly by Baba Ramdev, later it came to the fore that the website was not officially run by Baba Ramdev and carried a disclaimer in this regard. Some however expressed surprise that Ramdev was allowing his name to be used in this manner. There are a lot of things to criticize Ramdev upon.
