Chiranjeevis Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to be a Dasara release

Putting an end to all speculations about the release date of the much-awaited Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Tollywood actor and producer Ram Charan Teja said that the film will hit the screens for Dasara this year.

The actor, busy promoting Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which is due to release this Friday, revealed the news in one such event.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic on on the legendary freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. It is directed by Surender Reddy and is bankrolled by Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore.

The Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy team was recently in Georgia to film an intense climax fight sequence. The war sequence in the movie requires a lot of technical expertise and the team is focused on getting it right. Sources say that a huge portion of the total budget of the film has been earmarked for this climax fight.   

The movie which will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi has Megastar Chiranjeevi in the titular role. Apart from Chiranjeevi, a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan, who plays Gosayi Venkanna, find a place in the movie. The movie also has Vijay Sethupathi, Nayantara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it. Amit Trivedi has scored the music for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

Meanwhile Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama is all set for release for Sankaranthi. The film, directed by Boyapati Srinu, is produced by DVV Dhanayya under his banner Dhanayya Entertainments. While Rishi Punjabi and Arthur A. Wilson have together handled the camera, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has done the editing for the movie. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
