Acclaimed filmmaker Boyapati Srinu is in talks with two renowned actors – Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu –  in the Telugu film industry.

According to reports, the director has discussed a story with the ‘mega star’ Chiranjeevi and is most likely to direct his 152nd film.

Chiranjeevi is busy concentrating in the biopic of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’s biopic and will be undergoing a complete makeover for the project.

Further, Mahesh Babu has just joined the sets of Bharat Ane Nenu and will be busy with it for the next few months.

Sources in Tollywood say that Boyapati met Mahesh Babu for a chat but it is not clear if they had discussed a particular script.

If all goes well, the director may go on to direct Mahesh Babu’s 25th film. Sources in the film industry say that it is certain that Boyapati Srinu may get to collaborate with Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu for two different films but it is not clear as of now, which one would go on the floors first.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, directed by AR Murugadoss, has reached post-production mode. The film, made simultaneously in Telugu as well as Tamil, will hit the marquee on September 27.

Boyapati Srinu, who debuted as director with the 2005 release, Bhadra, is currently busy with the release of Jaya Janaki Nayaka.

Known for wielding the megaphone for mass entertainers, the director is making a romantic film for the first time, which has raised expectation levels.

Starring Bellamkonda Srinivas as the lead actor, the film has Rakul Preet Singh and Pragya Jaiswal playing other lead roles.
