Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is all set for a release in multiple languages and the film crew is promoting it extensively. Recently, mega star Chiranjeevi was in Kochi to promote the Malayalam version of the historical and revealed that Prithviraj was in consideration to play a role in the film but it did not happen. Speaking about it in the event, Chiru said that he wanted to cast Prithivi in the film but it did not materialise because the actor was in Spain at that time and could not come down to shoot.

Prithiviraj, who was at the event, lauded Ram Charan Teja for producing Sye Raa on a massive scale. He has been quoted by the cinemaexpress as saying: “I salute Ram Charan for mounting a project on this scale with a legend like you. Everything looks top notch. I personally do not remember you looking more stylish in any other film. You look so good in this.”

On choosing Sye Raa, Chiranjeevi said that he wanted to do the film ever since he heard the story of the freedom fighter but the budget didn’t work out. Now, the market is quite good for films with pan Indian appeal following which the film materialised, he added.

Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Chiru’s son and actor Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs. 200 crore. It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton. It is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
