Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 is coming to an end on Sunday, 105 days after it was launched, with a grand finale scheduled to happen on Sunday evening. As per reports, Megastar Chiranjeevi will be the Special Guest at the grand finale of the show.
Though not officially confirmed, Chiranjeevi is expected to announce the name of the winner of the third season of the reality show and present the trophy and the prize money to the title winner. The grand finale will also be star-studded with popular actors like Catherine Tresa, Anjali and Nidhhi Agerwal performing dance for the viewers.
“It’s going to be a night of celebrations. The viewers will get to see mesmerising dance performances of these three starlets under the supervision of choreographer Suresh Varma. They will perform on several popular songs and will commence shooting for the part on November 2. Also, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s presence will definitely amp up the entertainment quotient,” a source told Indian Express.
The five finalists of Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 are Baba Bhaskar, Sreemukhi, Varun Sandesh, Rahul Siplgunj and Ali Reza and all of them have been entertaining the audience this season. The third season of Bigg Boss Telugu premiered on July 21, 2019 on Star Maa TV and is being hosted by Nagarjuna.
The producers of the show had initially approached Jr NTR, who had successfully hosted the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu, to return for the third season. Though Jr NTR had initially agreed to host the show for a fee of Rs 35 lakh per episode, he backed out later to act in SS Rajamouli’s ambitious project RRR. The fee which Jr NTR was contracted for in Bigg Boss Telugu 3 is said to be higher than what senior actors like Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna were paid for hosting television shows.
Bigg Boss Telugu is a reality TV programme based on the popular international show Big Brother. The first season of Bigg Boss Telugu premiered on July 16, 2017 and was hosted by Jr NTR. The season concluded on September 24, 2017. The second season of the show was hosted by Nani and premiered on June 10, 2018. The grand finale of season 2 was held on September 30, 2018.
