Chinese e-commerce platform Club Factory has announced a new scale-up strategy to make giant strides into the India market with plans to onboard over 10,000 sellers this year.

Club Factory is going to open its Sellers Recruitment Program from early August for pan-India sellers offering products in the lifestyle, fashion, accessories, gadgets & electronics, and home categories. The program is aimed at helping sellers to avail marketing fee waiver and zero commission to achieve 20-30% cost saving as compared to selling on other platforms. Club Factory also plans to open offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai after its first office in Gurugram, to meet the increased user demands.

The Club Factory’s Seller Program is free to open, easy to list and devoid of any commission fee for the year. In order to help sellers succeed, Club Factory is also organising training and support to sell on the platform. Currently, sellers from all the categories are displaying their wares on the platform where some sellers have recorded over 10,000 orders on a single day by co-marketing with Club Factory. Club Factory is aiming to get at least 100 sellers to generate 10,000+ orders every day by duplicating the success.

The scaled-up infrastructure and platform will enable sellers to sell the products online at a better rate as compared to selling on their own. Sellers also get an opportunity to reach out to millions of customers of Club Factory, one of the most popular shopping apps on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

Club Factory will be using its proprietary big data and AI technology to manage the supply chain effectively, recommend relevant products to users and compare prices from multiple manufacturers in real-time to present customers with the lowest price for a product. Club Factory is empowering Indian SMEs (small & medium enterprises) by building adequate e-commerce infrastructure. The company has three warehouses in India to meet the demand for quick product delivery. It has partnered with some local top-tier logistics players for fulfilment and last-mile  delivery. There are plans to open more warehouses in the near future.

Club Factory also plans to make significant investments in warehousing, delivery, technology and marketing, with an aim to become a leading marketplace for SME sellers in India. Club Factory is looking to strengthen the focus on the India market by scaling up operations in an endeavour to further connect with users across the country.
