Remember baby Anikha who played Ajith’s daughter in the Gautham Menon directorial Yennai Arindhaal? She has once again got the opportunity to share the screen space with the Ajith. The little girl has been roped in to play a role in Ajith’s upcoming film Viswaasam, which is being directed by Siva. The shooting of this film is currently happening in Hyderabad and Anikha has joined the sets, say sources.

Viswaasam, an action entertainer, has Nayanthara playing the female lead and the star cast includes Vivek, Robo Shankar, Thambi Ramaiah, Kovai Sarala, Sandhya Janak, Yogi Babu, Kalairani, Bose Venkat, Sujatha Sivakumar, Ramesh Thilak, Jangiri Madhumitha and Namo Narayana. With a bevy of comedy actors in the star cast, the film is sure to be loaded with a lot of humor. On Nayanthara’s role, we hear that she plays a doctor in the film.

D Imman is composing the tunes for this venture while the camera is handled by Vetri and editing by Ruben. The shooting of this film began in May this year and the filmmakers are keen on having it release for Pongal next year. It may be mentioned here that D Imman is composing tunes for an Ajith starrer for the first time in his career and therefore music buffs are waiting in anticipation for the soundtrack.

Presented by TG Thyagarajan, Viswaasam is being bankrolled by Arjun Thyagarajan and Sendhil Thyagarajan under the banner Sathya Jyothi Films.

Ajith and Nayanthara have shared the screen space in hit movies such as Billa, Aegan and Arrambam and with the pair getting to work again in Viswaasam, expectations have gone up. Viswaasam is currently into its third schedule and it will go on for the next few weeks.
