The News Minute| September 22, 2014| 07.20 am ISTAn engineering student has been arrested along with two other for being a part of robberies targeting single women at home.Out of the four accused in the case, one had left to the Gulf for a job while another studied in a renowned engineering university in Chennai, said the Times of India. Aged 21 years-old, these two and two former security guards would target women who lived alone in houses. The strategy of the gang would be to pose as electricity board staff or officials from service provider companies and rob the women at knife-point. The gang has been part of five cases in different parts of Chennai alone, said the report.
