The News Minute | February 15, 2015 | 09.20 am ISTIndia has elected to bat in its first match against Pakistan at the World Cup, while Indians back home are cheering them on against their arch-rivals. One auto driver down south in Chennai has pinned his hopes on the Indian squad, reported Times of India .Murugesh Swaminathan, a diehard fan of the team has decided to offer free rides to commuters for two days if India ends up winning the Cup. This is not the first time he has offered his services. Doing so in 2003, 2007 and 2011, he even gave free service to passengers after the team won in 2011. ‘Speed Murugesh’ as he is better known for his ability to finish things quicky, he was given a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, said the report TweetFollow @thenewsminute
