The upcoming film 90 mL, starring Kartikeya in the lead role, was cleared by the censor board after a few cuts. The film was certified ‘A’ after the cuts. The initial plan was to release 90 mL on December 5 but the delay in censor certification postponed the release. It will hit the marquee on December 6 instead.

Directed by Sekhar Reddy Yerra, 90 mL is produced by Ashok Reddy Gummakonda. It has Neha Solanki as the female lead. Ajay, Ali, Pragathi, Satya Prakash, Sudharsan and others form the rest of the star cast. Anup Rubens is the music director.
Kartikeya was last seen as the baddie in the Nani starrer Gang Leader. The film was produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravishankar, and Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers with Vikram K Kumar wielding the megaphone. Anirudh composed music for Gang Leader. The film had Nani with Lakshmi, Saranya Ponvannan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shriya Reddy, Praanya P. Rao, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. It was about 5 women seeking help from a crime novelist to avenge the death of their loved ones.
Kartikeya’s last release as a hero was Guna 369, which released in August this year. It tanked at the box office without a trace following which the actor is in a desperate need for a big hit. He hopes to sign off this year with a massive hit.
