The News Minute | November 11, 2014 | 08:30 am ISTCity police have ruled out accusations of gang rape by a 15-year-old, who was training to become a nun at a Hennur seminary, in July this year, states a report by Bangalore Mirror. According to the police, DNA reports confirm that the girl used her fingernails to inflict injuries on herself. She apparently did this expecting that she would be sent to her family in Andhra, where her boyfriend also lives. She is said to have thought of such an idea after seeing 'the rape incidents over television', adds the report. In July, the girl had claimed that two men rung the bell at the seminary. When she opened the door, they sprayed something on her face from a canister which left her unconscious. It is then, she alleged, they raped her.Bangalore Mirror quotes Additional Commissioner, Alok Kumar, as saying,"The report has come and we are taking legal opinion about the case".
