In a swift move, the Bala Vidya Mandir school management has appointed a new Principal and has officially terminated CEO SS Nathan from his position in the wake of uproar from parents and the teaching body over a dual fee structure programme in the Adyar campus. The management also said that the school will follow "one uniform fee and approach for every child" after criticism from parents and the teaching staff over two separate fee structures were announced for students.  On Wednesday, a day before school was set to open, Bala Vidya Mandir issued a press statement announcing the appointment of S Sujata, the exisiting principal of BVM Global school in Perungudi who will be mentored by former principal Sashikala Sriram.
