The News Minute | March 1, 2015 | 02.20 pm IST When was the last time you wanted some electronic item from the US and pinged half your friends and relatives asking them when their next trip home was? A precarious situation faced by many - this has now been converted into an online community portal service which allows potential travellers to connect with people wanting goods from abroad. According to Rahul Mansabdar, an entrepreneur who is part of the 'Bring Me That From There' a 'community for travellers,  the idea developed after seekers and flyers began connecting on their Facebook page.  Ă¢â‚¬Å“This idea was made for seekers & flyers to get connected through the FB group & we wanted to see if we will get Interests on this idea. As of now, we have 10,000 members on our FB group, adding close to 1000 members every 10-12 days. We also notice that 15-20% of the posts made by our group members catch traction and succeed in making an exchange. Ă¢â‚¬Å“ The website for now is intended as a community portal. However, more interesting features are to be implemented on the site. "This is a global platform intending to help people in any corner of the world. We are making every effort that we reach out to Indians Living in abroad, Visitors/tourists who visit India and we are even coming with some unique solutions for Travel Agents/travel desks at IT Cos etc," said Rahul who works along with Vasudev Masur, Sumanth KC and Pramod Chakravarti Patil, the CTO at BMTFT. Headquartered in Bangalore, the website will be a welcome opportunity for many seeking goods from outside the country, and a chance for those travelling to make the most of their trip. The portal is yet to be launched with details available at www.bmtft.com.  Tweet Follow @thenewsminute
