The News Minute | September 25, 2014 | 07:41am ISTThe death of a 10 year-old boy due to dengue in August was not reported allegedly due to instruction from the corporation not to reveal the cause of death.Srivatsan R had been admitted at Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Porur on August 15, and a medical certificate showed that he had died of dengue, said The Times of India. He was declared dead on August 21.The corporation officials instructed the boy’s father R Rajaram not to reveal the cause of death. More than 150 deaths from dengue have occurred this year, according to sources said the report. Patients with dengue symptoms are treated but not reported on instructions from corporation officials .
