The first look of the Arun Vijay starrer Boxer has been revealed and it is impressive. From the poster, it is evident that the star has undergone rigorous training to play the character. Boxer will have music composed by Leon James, with the London-based cinematographer Markus A Ljunberg on cinematography, and editing by Madan. Ritika Singh plays the female lead and will be seen playing a sports journalist in the film. This is Vivek’s debut directorial as well.

As the title indicates, Arun Vijay plays a boxer in this film and has done complete homework for it. The actor underwent special training in Mixed Martial Arts at the Lienphong Martial Center in Vietnam for this film, we hear.

Arun Vijay also has Agni Siragugal in his kitty, an action thriller directed by Naveen and produced by T Siva under his banner Amma Creations. The film has Vijay Anthony playing the lead role with Arun Vijay. Shalini Pandey is the heroine with Nasser and Prakash Raj in supporting roles. Achu Rajamani is composing music for this film with Sathyan Sooryan cranking the camera and NB Srikanth editing it.

The actor’s other project in the pipeline is Saaho. Directed by Sujeeth, it is produced by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations on a budget of Rs 300 crores. While Prabhas plays the male lead in this action entertainer, sharing the screen space with him is Shraddha Kapoor. The technical crew of this film includes Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy for composing music with R Madhi on cinematography and A Sreekar Prasad on editing.
