Shooting of the third installment in the Singam franchise, starring Suriya as a police officer is progressing at a brisk pace. The film is directed by Hari, who had also helmed the first two parts.
According to the industry grapevine, the makers who were on the hunt for a main antagonist have finalised a Bollywood actor. Recently a look test was also performed for the actor and the name me would be officially announced soon.
The makers have completed 60 per cent of the shoot and the crew will be flying to Malaysia later this month where major portions of the film will be shot.
Recently, the makers sold the Tamil theatrical rights for Rs. 41 crore and the Telugu dubbed version for Rs. 18 crore in Andhra and Telangana.
S3 has Anushka and Shruti Haasan as the female leads. The film will have music by Harris Jayaraj, and will see the light of day during Diwali.
