Following the success of Romeo Juliet, director Lakshman and Jayam Ravi have come together for Bogan, which is tipped to be the official remake of Nicolas Cage-starrer "Face-Off".
The film, which also stars Arvind Swami and Hansika Motwani, is inching closer to completion and its makers have confirmed that it will hit the screens worldwide on December 23.
Interestingly, Jayam Ravi’s Bhooloham released around the same time last year and turned out to be a box-office hit. Perhaps Ravi wants to end 2016 on a similar note with Bogan.
Both Ravi and Arvind will be seen as cops in the film, which is tipped to be an action-thriller.
There were also reports that Arvind, who hails from the family of a king in the film, will be briefly seen as a sage too in Andaman Islands.
Director Lakshman, while admitting that Arvind will be seen as a cop, had said that he will been seen in khaki under mysterious reasons.
The film has music by D. Imman, and it marks the singing debut of Arvind Swami. In the film, he has lent his voice for some rap portion in a song which predominantly features the voice of Jyoti Nooran.
