Meera Mithun, an Indian model famous for her stint on Bigg Boss 3 Tamil, has claimed that she has been removed from an upcoming project starring Arun Vijay titled Agni Siragugal. The film is being directed by Naveen Madhav.

The actor took to Twitter and said that she has been removed from the film. A source close to the actor told Silverscreen, “Meera wasn’t informed about this and is appalled at how things have taken shape."

“Am removed from the movie and all of ya all know who has been roped in now in my place for the movie @agnisirugugal @NaveenFilmmaker @TSivaAmma (Sic)”

Meera further tweeted saying, “I have works and offers always everywhere nationally and internationally and am doing it in silence but what i pity is oru thamizhanuku tamilnadula vazha vazhi illama panradu ingadan nadukum.Fine ok apart from career why am I disturbed personally everywere ! (Sic)”

This comes as a second obstacle for the actor as her scenes were removed from the recently released Sivakarthikeyan film Namma Veetu Pillai. Meera had said that she shot for the film for 10 days and went into the Bigg Boss house as a participant. After she left the Bigg Boss house, she was told that her scenes would be removed as she had participated in the Vijay TV show.

Meera Mithun made her acting debut with 8 Thottakkal directed by Sri Ganesh, and she was also a part of Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam directed by Vignesh Shivn in which she was seen playing Madras fame Kalaiarasan's wife. Her recent release was Chandru KR’s Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari.

Agni Siragugal has Arun Vijay and Vijay Anthony playing the lead roles with Shalini Pandey as the female lead. The others in the star cast include Jagapathi Babu, Nassar and Prakash Raj in important roles. Recently, a pic of the cast and crew  was posted on social media and Akshara Haasan was also surprisingly part of it. She's supposedly Meera's replacement in the film.

The film is touted to be an action entertainer.
