If you thought that the Kabali craze could not get any more exciting, then you were wrong. Apparently, the demand is so high in Bengaluru that the Karnataka distributor of the movie has tied up with 5-star hotels to screen the movie on three days starting July 22, according to The Times of India.

“We've decided to screen the film at the JW Mariott (Vittal Mallya Road), Lalit Ashok, Royal Orchid (Yelahanka), Crown Plaza (Electronics City) with quality sound effects and Canon screens for three days, starting Friday. Four shows will be held every day and each show will have a seating capacity of 300 members,'' Anand G, director, Lahari Music told TOI. The tickets will be priced at Rs. 1,300 each and can be booked through BookMyShow,'' he added.

But here is the catch: they haven’t got all the required permissions yet.

“I am not the authority to decide on the movie screening, but on things like security and safety . The police and fire departments too will come into the picture. It all depends on what precautions and steps they've taken for me to grant any permission,'' V Shankar, DC, Bengaluru Urban, told TOI.

It is also reported that the brain behind the idea is Rockline Venkatesh, who has bought the Karnataka theatrical rights for the movie, although it is another distributor Gokulraj who is actually doing the distribution while Venkatesh is helping with the promotions.
