Bangalore school, where three-year-old was sexually assaulted, ran classes illegally

The News Minute | October 24, 2014 | 09:34 am IST The Bangalore school where a three-year-old nursery student was sexually assaulted was running its nursery section illegally, reports Bangalore Mirror.  Commissioner for public instruction Mohammad Mohsin on Thursday said the school's management did not have the permission to operate nursery sections. Bangalore Mirror also quotes him as saying, "The operation of the school is illegal. The management had received permission to operate a Kannada-medium school from first standard to fifth standard. However, they started English-medium education from first standard to seventh standard."A criminal case has been filed against the school for running classes for which they do not have a licence. Following the revelations, many parents are mulling over discontinuing their children in the school and those wanting help will be assisted in admitting their wards to other schools, adds the report.
