Bangalore court issues arrest warrant for Karthik Gowda, Railway Minister's son

The News Minute | September 4, 2014 | 1.35 pm IST A Bangalore court has issued an arrest warrant for Karthik Gowda, son of Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda after he failed to appear before investigating authorities for questioning in a rape and cheating case. The R T Nagar police have obtained an arrest warrant from the 8th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court, after he repeatedly failed to appear before them for questioning.Â Read:Â Police issue second notice to Railway Minister's son Karthik Gowda Actor Maitreya Gowda had field a case against him in Bangalore for having a physical relationship with her on the promise of marrying her. She filed a case against him with the R T Nagar police after she found out through the media that he was getting engaged to another woman.
