This Dusshera, movie buffs in Tollywood are in for a major box office clash. According to reports, both Balakrishna’s PaisaVasool and Mahesh Babu’s Spyder are gearing up for release on September 29 to cash in on the Dusshera holidays.
Incidentally, Balakrishna has teamed up with director Puri Jagannadh for the first time in his career while Mahesh Babu and AR Murugadoss have joined hands for the first time as well.
The shooting of the Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder is almost over and the team will be canning a couple of songs before calling it a wrap.
On the other hand, Puri Jagannadh and Balayya are sweating it out in Portugal where Paisa Vasool’s shooting is currently on.
Paisa Vasool stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Shriya Saran as the lead pair with Mushkaan and Kyra Dutt also included in the star cast. V Anand Prasad is producing the film under his banner Bhavya Creations.
The technical crew of this film includes Anup Rubens as music director, Mukesh as cinematographer and Junaid Siddiqui as editor.
Spyder, made on a budget of Rs. 100 crores, is bankrolled by N.V. Prasad under the banner NVR Prasad and presented by Tagore Madhu. The film has Rakul Preet Singh playing Mahesh Babu’s lead pair with SJ Suryah and Bharath in crucial roles.
Harris Jayaraj has composed music for this flick with Santosh Sivan cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad in charge at the editing table.
Incidentally, Spyder is a bilingual that is being made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. The film will mark Mahesh Babu’s debut in the Tamil film industry.
With the high budget films fighting for the same release date, the box office clash is all set to happen!
