Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda has accused a staffer of Emirates airlines of racism.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday morning, Shobu tweeted, "Flying to Hyd on @emirates EK526. Airline staff at gate B4 were very rude n harassed our team unnecessarily! Bad attitude n service!"(sic).

He also went on to add that one of the Emirates staff was being racist, adding that he was a regular flyer, and this was the first time he had faced such an incident.

According to reports, the incident happened when Shobu and the Baahubali team were headed back to Hyderabad, after promoting Baahubali - The Conclusion in Dubai.

However, he did not elaborate on the incident.

Emirates responded to the producer, asking him to privately share his booking reference, so it could look into the incident.

Meanwhile, Baahubali is gearing up for a massive worldwide release on April 28.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film has Prabhas playing the title role.

The team has worked on the two-part series for over five years.

Made on a budget of over Rs 200 crore, Baahubali also stars Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah and Ramya Krishnan among others. MM Keeravani has composed music for the film.

According to reports, the film will be released in around 9,000 screens worldwide.

It will be released in 6,500 screens in India alone and another 1,100 screens in the US. The film will release in 1,400 screens in other parts of the world.
