The producers of Baahubali: the Conclusion, Arka Media Works, have filed a case against SN Rajarajan of K Production over unpaid dues he owes to the production house. K Productions bought the theatrical rights of Baahubali: the Conclusion for Rs 52 crore and owes the production house about Rs 17.6 crore. A press note by Arka Media Works stated that the cheque issued by SN Rajarajan bounced, which prompted them to take legal action for the recovery of the amount.

A Hyderabad Court, before which the matter was heard, directed SN Rajarajan to pay the amount within a week and ordered attachment of his bank accounts if he failed to do so.

SN Rajarajan is also the producer of last year’s runaway sleeper hit Pyaar Prema Kadhal and he is also producing Vijay Sethupathi’s new film Sindhubaadh along with Yuvan Shankar Raja, directed by SU Arun Kumar. He co-produced Savaale Samaali along with veteran producer C. Arunpandian and it was directed by Sathyasiva. He has also distributed Dhanush's directorial venture Powerpandi.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali: the Conclusion had Prabhas in the titular role with Anushka Shetty and Tammannah Bhatia playing the female leads. The star cast also included Sudeep, Nasser, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.

MM Keeravani is the music director for this flick while K. K. Senthil Kumar cranked the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao edited it.

Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works, Baahubali was made on a budget of Rs 250 crore. The film was released in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.

Baahubali: the Conclusion was not only a commercial success but was critically acclaimed as well. The film went on to win the Telstra People's Choice Award at the 2017 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. It was premiered at the British Film Institute and at the 39th Moscow International Film Festival. Baahubali: the Conclusion was showcased in the Indian Panorama section of the 48th International Film Festival of India.
