Director SS Rajamouli is waiting with bated breath along with scores of his fans for the release of the magnum opus Baahubali – The Conclusion

Speaking at the Tamil version’s audio launch held recently, the director had said that he is extremely emotional about the project.

He also recalled how he felt when his dad Vijayendra Prasad narrated the characters in the film to him for the first time.

The Hindustan Times has quoted the director as saying: “My entire team has been working on this project for five years. It all started with my dad’s (Vijayendra Prasad) narration of individual characters of Baahubali. The electrifying feeling jolted me for more than a month, and every character stayed with me. I would cry, laugh and get emotional while thinking about the characters. I wanted the audiences to experience what I had felt when my father first told me the story. In the first part, we just introduced the characters. We never showed the in-depth drama between them. The second installment will showcase the emotions and drama on a better scale.”

Taking on the mike during the same event, Prabhas, who plays the title role in the film, said that he simply loved the passion with which Rajamouli had made the film.

Having spent about five years on the project, (both Baahubali – the Beginning and Baahubali – the Conclusion) Prabhas said that he wouldn’t mind spending another two years.

The actor added that Rajamouli took good care of him while on the sets which made it easier for him to work on the stunt sequences.

Written by Vijayendra Prasad and directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan and several others.

Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works, the film will be released in Tamil and Telugu along with its Hindi and Malayalam dubbed versions.

MM Keeravani has composed music for this magnum opus, which will hit the marquee on April 28, 2017.
