The News Minute | December 22, 2014 | 08.00 am ISTAn astrologer’s erroneous prediction resulted in his gruesome death when one of his clients smashed his head with a grinding stone in Tirunelveli. Eighty-five year old Arputhasamy, a part-time fortune teller, had built a temple and had been balancing the service along with astrology, reported The New Indian Express. He was found lying in a pool of blood along with a grinding stone near his body. Police investigation revealed that a flower-seller, Mariappan, frequented the house a lot and had been seen coming out of his residence on that fateful day. According to the report, Mariappan had divulged that he had murdered Arputhasami because of a series of predictions he had made wrong. Despite conducting a number of weddings in the family based on his advice, none of the marriages had worked due to domestic violence issues. Tweet
