Arun Vijay has signed up for a new film. Titled Sinam, the film is directed by GNR Kumaravelan. The shooting began some time ago with the team completing the first schedule successfully and the second schedule is set to begin on November 8th.
We hear that Arun Vijay will be playing a cop in this flick and is preparing well for it. Incidentally, the actor had played a cop in Kuttram 23 earlier.
On Sinam, Arun Vijay had told in an interview to the Indian Express, “Be it holy scriptures or any management lessons, ‘anger’ is always labelled a negative one. In fact, we even come across ‘anger management’ classes. But, what Sinam conveys is that sometimes ‘anger’ is good and can even bring justice for the needy. So that happens to be the motive of the protagonist in this film.”
Arun Vijay has said that director GNR Kumaravelan is an expert in planning and executing, which has made it easier to work with him. Palak Lalwani plays the female lead in this entertainer with Kaali Venkat roped in for an important role. The technical crew of Sinam will include Shabir composing the tunes and Gopinath cranking the camera. Movie Slides Pvt. Ltd., is producing the film.
Arun currently has Agni Siragugal, Boxer and Mafia: Chapter 1 in the making right now. Agni Siragugal is a multi-starrer with Arun Vijay and Vijay Anthony in the lead roles with Shalini Pandey and Akshara Haasan as the female leads. According to reports doing rounds, though Agni Siragugal is touted to be an action entertainer, it will have emotional content as well. The technical crew of this film includes Natarajan Sankaran for composing the music and KA Batcha is wielding the camera. The film is being bankrolled by T Siva under his banner Amma Creations.
