After Shalini Pandey, the actress who made quite a controversial debut with Arjun Reddy is currently the toast of the town, as she is on a roll signing projects.

After bagging a plum role in the bilingual film Savitri, the biopic on legendary southern actress Savitri, she is said to have been signed as the replacement for Lavanya Tripathi in the Tamil remake of Telugu film 100 % Love.

She will be paired with GV Prakash Kumar in the film, which will be predominantly shot in London.

Lavanya was originally signed for the project. However, delay in the commencement of the project forced her to exit as her dates with other project were clashing.

Apparently, she tried to adjust her dates but as the film didn’t take off as planned in August, she was left with no option than to walk out.

The makers have since signed Shalini as her replacement.

“The official announcement will be made soon,” a source said.

Even before Lavanya, Vanamagan fame Sayyeshaa was considered for the project and the makers had even approached her but she turned down the offer.

The regular shooting will commence in London later this month. The remake will be directed by debutant Chandra Mouli, former associate of Sukumar who directed 100% Love.

The original was a blockbuster and it starred Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead.
