Dulquer Salmaan’s maiden production venture was launched recently and the shooting is on at a brisk pace. The latest about this as yet untitled film is that actor Anupama Parameswaran, who is playing one of the female leads, is also working as assistant director to debutant filmmaker Shamsu Zayba.

The actor herself shared the big news via her Instagram post along with a photo of her working on the sets of the movie. Anupama wrote, “A new beginning assisting this new talent Shamsu Zayba in Dulquer Salmaan’s new production venture. Can’t be more excited, happy and blessed. Totally in love with this amazing team and how the movie is shaping up. A lot more to share, will update soon. Need your blessings and love.”

Anupama, Nikhila Vimal and Anu Sithara are playing the female leads in the film which will have Jacob Gregory play the male lead. Jacob Gregory and Dulquer Salmaan have acted together in films like ABCD, Parava, 100 Days of Love and Jomonte Suvisheshangal.

It may be noted here that Anupama shared screen space with Dulquer Salmaan in Jomonte Suvisheshangal, which turned out to be a smash hit. This is the second time she is associating with the actor turned producer but in a new role. There are expectations that Dulquer Salmaan will be making a cameo appearance in his maiden production but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. The technical crew of this film comprises Sree Hari K Nair for music and Sajad Kakku for cinematography.

Dulquer, meanwhile, is acting in RJ Mathukutty’s directorial debut. He also has two Tamil films – Vaan and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyaduthaal - and in Hindi, The Zoya Factor is set to release in September this year. Dulquer’s film Kurup directed by Srinath Rajendran is also going on floors.
