Anjali is all set to stage a comeback to the Malayalam film industry with Rosapoo. And, according to reports, she has begun shooting for the upcoming film.

Confirming this, the actor tweeted, “First day shoot of #Rosapoo @shibuthameens #vinujoseph #BijuMenon #newbeginning #shootlife #Malayalam.”

Rosapoo is directed by debutant Vinu Joseph and produced by Shibu Thameens under his banner Thameens Films. The film has as many as 142 characters which include Biju Menon, Sunny Wayne, Neeraj Madhav, Alencier, Soubin Shahir, Sudheer Karamana and Dileesh Pothan.

Touted to be a romantic comedy, the film is due to hit the marquee later this year. On starring in the film, Sunny Wayne had been quoted by the Times of India as saying, "I am all excited to sign a film alongside Biju Menon. The film has a beautiful script which felt very realistic to me."

Director Vinu Joseph had said, “Rosapoo is a realistic movie told in a light way, and it's predominantly a comedy. Biju Menon and Sunny's characters have their own struggles which might look funny to others but they are not in reality.”
