The audio launch of the Kannada film Ambi Ning Vayasayitho took place on September 16 and fans have now begun to expect its release date. The film has been given a clean U certification and the makers have finalised the release date as well. It has been confirmed that the film will make it to the silver screens on September 27.

The film, which is a remake of the Tamil film Pa Paandi, is directed by Gurudatha Ganiga. Pa Pandi marked the directorial debut of Dhanush and it turned out to be a blockbuster. The story revolves around a retired stunt master who lives with his son’s family. One fine day, he sets out on a journey to find his lost first love and what happens during this road trip forms the rest of the story. The film has Ambareesh playing the title role while Sudeep will be seen playing his younger version. The star cast also includes Suhasini Maniratnam in a pivotal role that was played by Revathi in Pa Pandi.

Sudeep is bankrolling the project under his banner Kiccha Creations in association with Jack Manju’s KSK Showreel Productions. The technical crew of Ambi Ning Vayassaytho includes Arjun Janya for music, Jebin Jacob for cinematography and Kiran for editing.

Ambi Ning Vayassaytho’s director Gurudatha had told the Times of India in an interview, “The film revolves around a middle-aged pair, who were in love once upon a time and reconnect many years later.”

It may be mentioned here that in the Tamil version Raj Kiran played the lead role that Ambareesh is doing in the Kannada remake while Kiccha Sudeep will be seen doing the role done by Dhanush as the younger version of the male lead. Both Raj Kiran and Dhanush, who appeared in an extended cameo, received critical acclaim for their performances in the film.
