Some got their hands on the great deals up for sale, while many complained that prices had been hiked on products and then a discount was offered on the same.Flipkart even crashed for a while due to surge in traffic.However, Flipkart has some stiff competition from other e-commerce websites like Snapdeal and Amazon, who too made sure that their presence was felt to customers. But someone else came up with a particularly interesting concept. They created the link www.bigbillionday.com, which is the name of Flipkart's campaign.
