Allu Sirish’s upcoming film ABCD is getting ready for release this summer. The shooting of the film was wrapped up several months ago but the release was postponed many times for different reasons. Eventually, the news came out that the producers of ABCD were not happy with the final content and had suggested several changes which were incorporated. Sources in the know say that Suresh Babu and Allu Aravind went through the film and suggested changes which were made.

The film was originally planned as a Valentine’s Day release but it had to be postponed to March 1 and then to March 22 due to various reasons. Finally, ABCD is gearing up for release this summer. The release date will be announced officially soon.

ABCD is a remake of the hit Malayalam movie with the same title. The original version was directed by Martin Prakkat and produced by Shibu Thameens under the banner Thameens Films. The film had Dulquer Salmaan, Jacob Gregory, Aparna Gopinath and Tovino Thomas in the lead roles. The film was made on a budget of Rs 4.5 crore and collected about Rs 12.5 crore at the box office.

The first look poster of the Telugu version was unveiled some time ago and has garnered a good response from the film buffs. The Telugu version is directed by Sanjeev Reddy who will be making his debut as a director. The comedy entertainer has Rukshar Dhillon playing the female lead with Bharath staging a comeback with a pivotal role in it. Rashmika Mandanna, the popular Kannada actor, has been roped in to play an important role in this comedy entertainer. Sources say that Rashmika understands that her role will be small but did not want to let go of the opportunity as it is a performance oriented role that would provide fodder for her acting skills. The film is being bankrolled by Madhura Sreedhar and Yash Rangineni.
