The Allu Arjun starrer Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India is turning out to be a grand success at the box office. The film opened to packed houses on May 4th and is continuing to draw crowds to the theatres. According to a poster released by the filmmakers, it has grossed over Rs. 100 crores at the box office. The Tweet in this regard read: “#NaaPeruSuryaNaaIlluIndia running successfully. Grossed 101.16cr in 1st week. Tamil & Malayalam versions entered into profits zone. #100CrGrossForNaaPeruSurya.”
 
Starring Allu Arjun in the lead role, Naa Peru Surya has Anu Emmanuel playing the female lead. The film marks the debut of writer Vakkantham Vamsi as director with Sridhar Lagadapati, Sirisha Lagadapati, Bunny Vas, Sushil Choudhary and K. Nagendra Babu bankrolling it under the banner Rama Lakshmi Cine Creations. The star cast of this action drama includes Arjun Sarja, R. Sarathkumar, Thakur Anoop Singh and Boman Irani as well.

The technical crew of this flick comprise Bollywood duo Vishal – Shekhar composing music with Rajeev Ravi cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it.

It may be mentioned here that the film’s success meet was held recently in Hyderabad and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan was present to congratulate the team on the success. During the success meet, Pawan Kalyan said, “I didn’t know that my brother Naga Babu is the producer of this film. I liked Allu Arjun’s Arya and I am happy to see his rise. I hope even in the future, he does more good films and earns a good name for his grandfather and parents.”

Allu Arjun, who plays an army officer in this flick, has done a lot of homework to get into the skin of the character. He underwent special training for the role in the US and it did certainly pay off well at the box office!
