Following the phenomenal success of Sarrainodu, stylish star Allu Arjun is ready with his next project.
Tipped to be a romantic entertainer, DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham was officially launched on Sunday and the makers commenced regular shooting earlier this morning. While reports suggested that the actor plays a DJ in the film, sources from the unit rubbished it. Apparently, DJ (Duvvada Jagannadham) stands for Arjun’s name in the film.
To be bankrolled by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, it’s after seven years that producer Raju and Arjun are collaborating. The duo had previously worked in films such as Arya and Parugu, and are thrilled to be teaming up once again. According to producer Raju, director Harish has readied the kind of script that will be lapped up by the masses.
With the film slated for release in the summer of 2017, the makers are in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast. Meanwhile, Arjun was supposed to start working on a bilingual project with director Lingusami, but the film has been postponed, according to reports.
