A popular private satellite channel has bagged the television and digital rights of Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India for a whopping Rs. 23.75 crores. The package also includes the rights of the Hindi dubbed version of the film, we hear from sources.

According to sources in the trade, Allu Arjun’s popularity and the channel’s wide base in the northern parts of India and in Andhra and Telangana regions were instrumental in the parties closing the deal much in advance.

In addition to these factors, Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu and Duvvada Jagannadham were good hits. Further, the Telugu dubbed versions of Sarrainodu have crossed over one million on YouTube which proves the star’s popularity.

And in a related development, the rights for the Malayalam dubbed version of the film has been sold as well. All these are factors that has upped the expectation levels for Naa Peru Surya.

The directorial debut of ace writer Vakkantham Vamsi, the film is being bankrolled by Sirisha Lagadapati, Sridhar Lagadapati, Bunny Vasu and K. Nagendra Babu under the banner Ramalakshmi Creations. Naa Peru Surya is touted to hit the silver screens on April 27 and it is indeed good news for all Allu Arjun’s fans that the rights of the film have been sold out so early.

This also means that the film’s producers have recovered a major chuck of the budget much before its release.

Naa Peru Surya is touted to be an action entertainer that has Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel as the lead pair with Arjun Sarja and R. Sarathkumar in pivotal roles. Bollywood duo Vishal – Shekhar have composed the tunes for this flick with Rajeev Ravi cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it.
