The Allu Arjun starrer Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India is one of the most anticipated Tollywood films of the year. Due to hit the silver screens on May 4 worldwide, its makers have been granted special permission by the governments of Andhra and Telangana to screens extra shows. The special permission allows them to screen five shows per day for the first eight days, that is from May 4 to 11. Considering the summer vacation season and the rush to watch the film, both the state governments have decided to allow one special screening between 5 and 10 am for eight days.

A grand premiere has been organised for the film in USA. The film’s US distributor Great India Films via a tweet announced that the project will have a premiere show on May 3. They tweeted, “#NaaPeruSurya from May 3rd in USA.”

Starring Allu Arjun in the lead role, Naa Peru Surya will mark the debut of ace writer Vakkantham Vamsi as director. The film has Alu Arjun playing an army officer and he is said to have undergone special training in the US to get into the skin of the character.

The film has Anu Emmanuel playing the lead opposite Allu Arjun, with Sarathkumar, Thakur Anoop Singh, Boman Irani, Vennela Kishore and Arjun Sarja in important roles. It is produced by Sirisha Lagadapati, Sridhar Lagadapati, Bunny Vasu, Sushil Choudhary and K Nagendra Babu under the banner Ramalakshmi Cine Combines. Bollywood duo Vishal-Shekar are the music directors for NPS while Rajeev Ravi has cranked the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao had edited it.

With just one more day to go, fans are waiting eagerly for the film’s release. It may be mentioned here that Naa Peru Surya was originally touted for release on April 27 but it had to be postponed to make way for the Rajinikanth starrer Kaala. However, Kaala was not able to meet the deadline due to the TFPC strike in Kollywood.
