Allu Arjun, fresh out of the success of Duvvada Jagannadham, has moved over his next film Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India. While the project had started rolling, there were various speculations about the heroine. Finally, the news is officially out that Anu Emmanuel has bagged the role.
Touted to be a patriotic film, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, will mark the debut of noted writer Vakkantham Vamsi as the director. It may be recalled that Vamsi had penned the smash hit films such as Kick, Race Gurram, Yevadu, and Temper.
Bollywood music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar will be composing music for this venture with Rajeev Ravi cranking the camera, Rajeevan in charge of the art direction and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handling the editing. Presented by Babu, the magnum opus is produced by Sirisha and Sridhar Lagadapati, Bunny Vasu, and K. Nagendra under the banner Ramalakshmi Cine Creations. While Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel will be playing the lead pair in the film, the star cast also includes two veteran actors R Sarath Kumar and Arjun Sarja in pivotal roles.
Anu Emmanuel made her debut as a child artiste in the Malayalam movie Swapna Sanchari in 2011 and has worked her way up as heroine. Her debut as heroine was with the Mollywood flick Action Hero Biju and she was seen in a few Telugu movies including Majnu and Oxygen. She will be making her debut in Tamil with Thupparivalan.
Apart from Naa Peru Surya, she also has another prestigious Telugu project, which is the Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s untitled film. This Pawan Kalyan starrer is being helmed by popular director Trivikram Srinivas.
