Allu Arjun is on a career high thanks to the phenomenal success of Sarrainodu, which has become the first film in the actor’s career to rake in over Rs 100 crore. The hit film has also managed to set new collection records in several areas across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

This is the third blockbuster in a row for Arjun, after Race Gurram and S/O Satyamurty. While Arjun had been confident that the film would do well at the box office, he said that he had not anticipated this kind of success.

“I did the film because I believed in it. But none of us expected it to do so well, even beyond our expectations. This success has certainly raised the stakes and has subsequently added more pressure to continue the winning streak with my forthcoming projects too,” Arjun told The News Minute.

He also confirmed that he will next team up with filmmaker Linguswamy for a bilingual project in Telugu and Tamil, followed by a project with director Vikram Kumar. “I want to expand my base as a pan south Indian actor. Hence, the decision to do bilinguals,” he said.

While Arjun’s project with Linguswamy will start rolling from June or July, the project with Vikram will begin closer to the end of 2016.
