Allu Arjun completes 18 years in Tollywood, thanks fans and well-wishers

Popular Tollywood actor Allu Arjun, who is also known as Stylish Star and Bunny, has appeared in various roles over the years. Allu Arjun, the recipient of three Nandi Awards and five Filmfare Awards has a huge Tollywood fan base. And on Sunday, the 37-year-old actor took to Twitter to celebrate the completion of 18 years as an actor.  

He took the opportunity to thank his fans, well-wishers and everyone who has been a part of his journey over the years. “It’s has been 18years since my first film released. I wanted to thank each n everyone who has been a part of my 18years journey. My heart is filled with gratitude. I am truly blessed for all the love showered over the years . Thank you for all the blessings. Gratitude. AA,” the tweet read.  

Allu Arjun made his debut in the 2003 Telugu movie Gangotri that marked director Raghavendra Rao’s 100th film. Allu is known for his appearance as Arya in the 2004 movie Arya, Raja/ Bunny in the 2005 film Bunny, Krishna in the 2008 movie Parugu, Sandy Mohan Ram in the 2010 movie Varudu and as Ravindra Narayan in Julayi, among many others. He rose to fame at a national level when the song ‘Butta Bomma’ sung by Armaan Malik, went viral across the country.  

On the professional front, the actor currently awaits the release of the Telugu movie Pushpa, where he will be sharing the screen with Geetha Govindam fame Rashmika Mandanna. The Sukumar directorial will also mark Fahadh Faasil’s Tollywood debut, who will be seen playing the role of an antagonist in the movie. Pushpa also stars Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhanajay and Sunil in supporting roles. Allu Arjun was last seen in the 2020 Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The song ‘Butta Bomma’ was a part of the film’s soundtrack.
