Announced by Educaton Minister KC Veeramani, he said that Tamil Nadu was ahead of other states by five years in terms of projects undertaken in the field of education, reported The New Indian Express. According to School Education Director S Kannappan, 128 primary schools have been initiated this year along with an upgrade of 100 high schools, 50 middle schools and 50 primary schools, said the report.
