Expectations are high on Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film Hello, which is scheduled to release on December 22.

The film’s teaser was released recently, which had increased the expectation levels by several notches. However, it was a big disappointment for movie buffs when news about the teaser being removed from YouTube began spreading on social media.

Those wanting to have a glimpse of the Hello teaser were shocked to find the message, "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by AdRev for a third party," instead of the teaser.

AdRev is a company that manages the copyrights of several companies and individuals and fans began to wonder how a big production company like Annapurna Studios would have been caught in this copyright violation mess.

Finally, it was revealed that music director Anup Rubens had used the music track from an international music album, following which the teaser was removed by YouTube citing copyright infringement.

According to sources in the know, the teaser of the film was cut by the promo editor with a dummy musical track. When this was presented to music composer Anup Rubens, he composed his own music track but that didn’t fit well.

Following this, it was decided to use a track from the internet and to purchase the same. Unfortunately, due to some technical issues, the payment was not processed which led to YouTube removing the teaser. Sources add that Anup did not copy the track but it was merely a miscommunication that will be sorted out at the earliest. Sources say that the teaser will be back on YouTube soon.

Directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame, Hello is produced by Akhil’s father and actor Nagarjuna. The film stars Akhil Akkineni and Kalyani Priyadarshan as the lead pair with Jagapati Babu, Ramya Krishna and Ajay in pivotal roles.

The video has since been restored.
