Aishwarya Rajesh, who has proved her mettle as a performance-oriented artiste, has bagged yet another heroine centric project. Reports are that she will be playing a medical rep in a medical thriller that will be directed by newbie SA Bhaskaran. The director is an erstwhile associate of Jeethu Joseph and Kamal Haasan.

Kishore and Ajay Ghosh, who were seen in the critically acclaimed film Visaaranai, will be playing important roles in this flick as well. The shooting of this film is expected to begin later next month and the prep work for it has started already.

Aishwarya Rajesh has several films needing her attention right now including Mani Ratnam’s Vaanam Kottatum. Veteran director Mani Ratnam is producing Vaanam Kottatum under his banner Madras Talkies with his former associate Dhana roped in to wield the megaphone.

According to latest reports, Vikram Prabhu has been roped in to play the lead role in it. The film will have Madonna Sebastian and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads. While the former would be paired opposite the hero, the latter will be seen playing his sister.

The ground work for Vaanam Kottatum has already begun and the shooting will start in July this year. Radhika and Sarath Kumar have been signed up to play supporting roles in this flick as well. Govind Vasantha, known for his music in films like Seethakaathi and 96, has been roped in to compose the tunes for this film.

The actor is also expecting the release of Dhruva Natchathiram, which has Vikram playing the lead role. The film, which has been in the cans for a long time, is directed by Gautham Menon.
